"Can I just say how much I enjoyed your workshop at the BGG last weekend?
The whole event was such a time of reflection for me and my partner and you have given us one more thing that we can take away and share." Ian Morris

"My boyfriend and I did a workshop at Glastonbury and really enjoyed it. It was a wonderful oasis of calm during what was a busy and tiring few days - thank you for sharing your talent! Wayne was a fantastic teacher and made us feel so welcome and at ease. Great job."
- Naomi Lukianczuk

"Wayne's Spoon carving workshops are delightful, held simply, with warm hearted kindness and accessible for everyone.  I felt empowered and deeply satisfied with my first spoon and am truly hooked!" Denise Rowe, Bristol
These fun workshops offer everyone the chance to re-connect to the unspoken natural world around us. They provide the space for reflective contemplation whilst inspiring confidence in people to use their hands.

"I love the way that giving someone the chance to experience something that is closer to where I believe we need to be can have a massive influence on a person and help them to see life in a more sympathetic, realistic way. Skills such as shave-horsing, pole-lathing, weaving and carving help a person connect to something more primaeval within themselves and also allows time for reflection within oneself. Spoon carving is amongst these empowering activities and needs to be promoted in as many ways as possible..."
For many folks they have not carved with wood before
"Over a two hour period folks carve their own spoon to take away with them. My enthusiastic instruction gives people all the necessary green woodworking skills and knowledge they need to continue if they wish.  I have an age limit of 12, unless competent and guardian accompanied. These workshops prove VERY popular and usually book up within the first day or so at a festival."
